The gas heater works less well at temperatures lower than 5 degrees Celsius with the gas bottles shown with the product. Liquid butane boils at about -0.5°C. This makes butane unsuitable for applications where the temperature in which the gas tank or gas bottle is installed is below 5°C. For example during the winter! The reason is that at a temperature below 5°C, insufficient liquid butane changes to vaporous butane, with the result that no/insufficient pressure is created that will drive the butane gas to a consumer appliance via a pressure regulator, with the result that the stove does not works well or does not work at all. Of course, the majority of glass bottles are excellent for this and at temperatures above 5 degrees a wonderful stove.

The gas heater comes in a beautifully packaged Happy Home box, but excluding the butane gas. This van with gas is of course for sale at almost every hardware store or shop with similar items.
